Pygmy Boats has always had a great heirloom product (do-it-yourself boat kits), but did not always have the look to go with it. B&Y’s job was to create print materials that focused on the hands-on craftsman who not only enjoys kayaking, but wants to go the extra mile by building his/her own boat. We did this with sexy photographs that showcased the true beauty of the product. Our award-winning work showed its success in the number of copycats afterwards. Being imitated is the sincerest form of flattery, after all.
