Account Executive / Senior Account Executive

B&Y is seeking a full-time seasoned account service team member with 3+ years of advertising, marketing and branding experience. Agency experience and/or experience managing multiple internal brands or services is a plus.

The account executive will be responsible for day-to-day communication with multiple client accounts. He/she must be able to translate those conversations into actionable project strategies by working with various inter-agency departments. Providing clear input and feedback to creative directors, designers, copywriters, videographers, motion graphics artists and media planners will be instrumental to ensuring high-quality, strategic deliverables.

B&Y is looking for someone who thrives in a team environment yet is comfortable crafting the first iteration of a strategic plan on their own. Someone who is a problem solver, has an eye for detail and never misses a deadline. Someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions or make decisions.


  • Handling day-to-day activities and communications for assigned clients, and leading recurring client status meetings
  • Writing detailed project briefs and leading project input meetings
  • Keeping a pulse on the progress of clients’ projects and coordinating new work through production/ traffic manager
  • Coordinating project timing and budgets with all relevant agency personnel
  • Checking and approving all client deliverables and coordinating client approval of same
  • Effectively presenting agency work and proposals to clients
  • Overseeing execution of in-market campaigns
  • Reviewing project billing and assisting in preparing client invoices
  • Forecasting upcoming client work on a monthly basis to help predict resource needs
  • Actively seeking additional projects/new business from client contacts


  • 3+ years of advertising, marketing and branding experience

Business Development Specialist

B&Y is seeking a sales-driven, self-motivated, full-time business development specialist to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In this role, you’ll work to identify and engage new leads, pre-qualify them, convert them into new business opportunities and ultimately into clients.
B&Y is an award-winning, full-service advertising and strategic marketing firm with a specialized focus on healthcare marketing. We provide regional and national clients with expertise in brand identity and strategic planning. Our team works a hybrid schedule, with remote and in-office days each week in our downtown Fort Wayne office.

The business development specialist must be comfortable building relationships over the phone, through email and in-person, as needed. You’ll work with our account team to transition clients from the new business stage to their designated account executive. The ideal candidate for this role is confident and persistent and loves meeting new people. You should be an excellent communicator and have some degree of prior sales experience – sales experience with a marketing service is a plus.


  • Utilizing a strategic framework of phone calls, LinkedIn connections/messages and emails to progress new business prospects through B&Y’s sales cycle via Pipedrive
  • Leading biweekly new business meetings with the Managing Partner team to provide progress updates on new business leads and activity
  • Facilitating transitions between new clients and account team members who will service the new account
  • Collaborating with agency team members to develop sales collateral to aid in the sales cycle
  • Aiding overarching agency growth plan by keeping a pulse on industry needs and trends
