A Renewed Sense of Purpose
Don’t we all deserve another chance? That was our motivation for this year’s B&Y Christmas card, which raises awareness for people who struggle to find employment, such as those who have criminal backgrounds or are disabled, homeless or undereducated. To draw attention to the cause, we used hundreds of thrifted neckties to highlight the importance of providing support to our “overlooked” community members in need of a second chance. Our card encourages our audience to take an active role by donating their professional clothing items to help someone find a job and a renewed sense of purpose.

THE CAUSE
Imagine feeling like society has completely turned its back on you. That you have no way to get a job. No way to support yourself. No way to prove that you deserve another chance. For many people in our community, this is the reality they face every day. Thankfully, Blue Jacket has made it their mission to restore hope for people who face barriers to employment. By providing tools, clothing, training and more, Blue Jacket prepares them to enter the workforce, connects them to job opportunities and helps them finally feel seen.
